Christmas Wish List 2015 | Bags, Beauty and Fragrance

Seeing as it's the first week of December, I thought what better way to start the month than with my Christmas Wish List. I know a lot of you will be starting to look what to ask for this year or maybe even looking for gift ideas so perhaps this could help you either way. Please note this is a 'wish list' so of course I don't expect to receive everyone of these items, if any! This is just a select few items that I would love to receive. Let's get into it!

I love this bag! I'm definitely in need of a new one as I've had my last Zara bag for nearly two years, it's looking a bit worse for wear so I think it's time I got myself a new one. I saw this bag in a haul on YouTube and I knew it had to be mine, especially as it's only £20. Unfortunately it's now unavailable on the website but I have a sneaking suspicion that Santa may have heard my pleads. Let's hope I find this under the tree!

2. Purse
Seeing as this is a 'Wish List' then i'd really love the Ted Baker Colour Block Matinee Purse in Nude. I could've sworn they did this in the summer but they must have stopped making it as I can't find it anywhere. So I wish that said purse still existed an I wish that I had £75 to spend on a purse but this one from ASOS is lovely too. I like large purses so something simple like this is perfect for everyday and will sit nicely in the bag I mentioned previously.

In last years Boxing Day sales I picked up an Origins Sample Set. This was included within the set and I loved it, however I don't love the price. It's £35 which has put me off repurchasing it but i'm thinking I could pop it on my Christmas Wish List and maybe a kind someone will put it under the tree for me. If not, I think i'll definitely have to purchase it myself. It's 50ml so should last me ages, right!?

I can't believe how long I've loved Soap and Glory, it's been 6 years since I received my first ever Soap and Glory products. Can anyone remember The Big Thrill Hat Box set that went from £50 down to £20? My Dad rushed out to get it for me! So it's become a tradition that every year I receive a Soap and Glory gift set and i'm definitely not complaining! As much as i'd love the Whole She-Bang set, it's a little pricey so i'd be more than happy with Soaper Star set as it contains a few of my all time favourite Soap and Glory products.

Another Soap and Glory set, but this time it's makeup! I've not actually tried much of their makeup range. Only a primer, the Brow Archery and a Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss. This set is such a great deal, I'd really love to find this under my tree and would be a great way to test out more of their makeup range!

You may have seen me mention before but I've not actually tried many high-end makeup brands. However, everything I've tried from Benefit I've loved! Again, I think this set is a great deal and would be perfect to try out more of their products! The Rockateur Blush looks right up my street and is included in this set. Also, I think this would be a great gift for someone wanting to experiment more with makeup and dip into the high-end side.

7. Perfume
I'm not entirely sure what perfume i'd like, which isn't good as i'm so fussy when it comes to perfume. However, I think i'd like a more affordable perfume for daily wear. As much as I love my Giorgio Armani Si, it's quite expensive for everyday wear and is more of an evening scent. I did notice they now do an Eau De Toilette version so maybe that's lighter and more appropriate for daily wear? I don't know but the bottles really pretty, haha!

And last but certainly not least, I'd love this candle. I've tried a load of the wax melts and samplers and this has been my favourite by far so i'd love to have the large jar to burn. Also it's pale pink so will look super cute in my room, what more could I want!?

I hope this has helped you if you're stuck on what to ask for or what to buy for your loved ones. I've actually finished my Christmas shopping which is good but also not as I keep seeing other things and spend even more money. I should be saving to learn to drive so I suppose that's another thing i'd like- driving lessons, something practical! I'd love to know how much shopping you've done. Let me know in the comments!

What I'm Wishing For- My 18th Birthday | Wish List

As my 18th Birthday is just around the corner, I am slightly nervous but so excited, today I thought i'd bring to you my 18th Birthday Wish List. I've been asked a lot by my family and friends recently what I would like and I couldn't think of much apart from the usual 18th gifts and things that aren't physical gifts, after a long while of thinking I've put together a list to share with you guys today.

Now you can't have it all but you can wish for it right?

1. To spend time with family and friends, with an emphasis on family.

My families relationship isn't the greatest, I must admit. So this year i'd like them and myself to make the effort to spend time with my immediate family AND the extended family that I don't see on a regular basis, whether this be going out for food or at a last minute family gathering.
Due to leaving school a couple of years ago(I know I can't believe it myself either), I rarely see my friends but we've made sure that we'll spend each others 18th Birthdays together. For mine we're going to be staying over night in London which calls for sight seeing(though we've seen it before), shopping, eating and laughs. I cannot wait!

2. Something sentimental, although not too obviously 'I'm 18'
By this I mean i'd like a piece of jewellery to keep that doesn't feature the typical 18 charm. After lots of browsing I came up with to beautiful items that i'd love! I'm not expecting either of these though I have hinted. First is the gorgeous dainty necklace which features disks that you can choose any letters or symbols of your choice to go on there. I'd love my initials as I've never had a piece of jewellery with my name on and it comes in silver, gold and rose gold, i'm edging more towards rose gold though.
The second piece is slightly pricey as my family don't tend to do birthdays big but I can dream right!? How gorgeous is this dainty rose gold Swarovski bracelet? Perfect for everyday where and has a hint of sparkle which I love.

3. Although I would also like something typically '18th Birthday'.
I'm pretty sure its necessary for everyone who hits the 18th milestone to receive the typical key to the door, Me to You teddy or the champers glass featuring a glittery 18.

4. Beauty Books.
There's a good few beauty books i'd like after reading Lauren Conrad Beauty(review: here) but they're something I don't want to buy for myself, I'm not sure why. I've heard lots about the Sali Hughes Pretty Honest book and it sounds right up my street, I'd also love the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual.

5. Perfume, I'm all for it.
Perfume is not something I've really dabbled with but after discovering what I think is the most beautiful scent, Giorgio Armani Si and running very low on it, I'd love another. There's also a few others I'd like to try including the Molecule 01 perfume by  Escentric Molecules and a more affordable option that I love from The Body Shop- Madagascan Vanilla Flower Eau De Toilette.

6. Flowers.
Only once I've been bought flowers by my sister to say Thank You and I find that pretty sad as I love flowers haha! I'd be happy with any bunch but I love yellow Roses and pink Peonies.

And that's it for my 18th Birthday Wishlist, like I said you can't have everything so just a couple of these things mentioned and i'd be over the moon! I'm planning on doing a 'What I got for my Birthday' post so subscribe via bloglovin' using the button on the right hand side of this post if you'd like to keep updated.

When is your birthday and whats on your wish list? Let me know in the comments below!

Recent Favourites

As its currently a Sunday, I thought i'd catch up on some blogging! I have completely neglected my blog recently but I am slowly but surely getting back into it, I have already written one review which is waiting to go up, so hopefully I can catch up today and perhaps schedule some posts. Anyway i'll stop blabbing and get on with what today's post is going to be about, my recent favourites as you can tell from the title! I decided not to do a monthly favourites as I have been using some of these products longer than a month!
I wrote this blog post a few weeks ago, I haven't had time to take photos as when I do have time the lighting isn't great, so apologies for these photos not being my own, credit to Google images.

I am going to try and be quick at explaining why these products are my favourites but that doesn't tend to happen a lot as I have so much to say about things! First of all is the Garnier Pure Foam Wash, this is a product I was excited to try as I had read nothing but good things about it and Garnier definitely didn't disappoint! I love this wash for every day use, it smells fresh, makes my skin feel at its cleanest and definitely helps with my oily T-zone. I say this as usually facial washes tend to make my skin 'too clean' and provokes it to produce more oils, but this wash definitely keeps the oils under control! I'm not going to say much about this as there already is or will be very soon a full review on this product!

My next favourite is the Rimmel London Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation. First of all I must say, I was confused as to what a 'liquid mousse' foundation looked and felt like and the only way I can describe it is a very light mousse. Awful description I know, it comes out like a blob of mousse then when I apply it using the Real Techniques Buffing brush it covers just like a liquid would. Now don't be fooled by this foundation being 'light', it gives absolutely amazing coverage! I love how light it feels on my skin and how it looks, covering all my imperfections and helping to control the oils- it definitely stays matte!

Another favourite of mine is quite unusual for me! It's the MUA Matte Lipstick in Wild Berry. I absolutely love dark vampy lipsticks, especially purples! I just never ever had the confidence to wear one, but as I follow MUA on instagram and saw how incredible it looks on the lip, for a £1 I just couldn't leave it! I wasn't fooled when I saw the colour in the bullet being so dark almost black, as I had seen how it looks on, but if you do see this lipstick in Superdrug definitely swatch it! It comes out very pigmented but sheer, but it is definitely buildable, usually 2 coats is enough for me! I love how the lipstick looks and for a pound you cant go wrong- I've definitely got my wear out of it this Autumn/Winter, I will continue to wear it until it becomes too Spring, haha!

I've also been loving the Skintruth Lavender and Chamomile soothing cleanser, this is from a 3 step kit but I only particularly like the cleanser. Now I hate Lavender but this cleanser really isn't that bad, I can't really smell the lavender when applying. This is just a slightly more expensive alternative to treat my skin a little usually once or twice a week, I only do not use this so often as this is a Salon brand so it's not quite as easy to get hold of- my sister is a qualified beauty therapist though, so that's the only reason I have it! This is as it states, very soothing and cleansing as it leaves my skin feeling lovely and makes me feel better about my self all round- that's quite cheesy but, I guess it really is soothing! If you happen to see this in a salon near you or would like to try it, I definitely wouldn't hesitate! I love it!

Last but not least beauty related product, its the Beyonce Heat perfume. I never thought I would be saying this as Beyonce is not a person who particularly interests me- but this perfume is amazing! I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my Giorgio Armani Si perfume, for every day use- as Si isn't quite as affordable! I'm not saying this perfume is a similar scent to Si but I saw a lot of people had it, so I thought it must be good! I finally went into town and gave this a whiff in Boots and I loved it instantly! I cannot explain the scent but its slightly sweet and spicy at the same time, perfect and affordable for every day wear! It's so affordable, I purchased the 100ml size for under £15!

My final favourite isn't beauty related, it's something I got for my Birthday. If you don't already know, I kind of have a thing for Olly Murs, like a big thing. I've seen him live 4 times and met him twice, once a competition I won to go to his book signing and the second time- me and my friend waited outside in the cold from 10 til around 4pm. Then after went to see him live! My most recent to date 'thing' is that I won a competition with Heart FM to ask him a question and got to say anything I wanted to him- I asked him to follow me on twitter ofc! He did on Boxing Day and it was the most amazing thing, I listened to him answer my other question and just cried. Probably very sad I know! So to highlight my thing for Olly, my parents got me this signed picture of him framed which is going to sit on my wall very happily!

I hope that wasn't too long and that you're still here! If you are then thank you so much! That's all for today's favourites post- what would you like to see? Please comment below your feedback and if you have tried any of these products and let me know what you think of them! If you have anything you'd like me to post then feel free to comment below and i'll try my best!

Talk soon my lovelies! X

Christmas Wish List!

Hello lovelies!

Ok, seeing as my first blog post was an 'About me' introduction I've been contemplating what to post next. I'm really not sure when I will be posting and what exactly I will be posting but I'm making a start. I thought a Christmas Wish List might give you(if you're actually reading this) some ideas of what to ask for Christmas and it was just something simple to get me into blogging, I'll start off my wish list now!(obviously none of these photos are mine as they are what I am wanting)

1. Lauren Conrad Beauty- I love Lauren Conrad I think she is absolutely stunning, I first came across her when I was about 11/12 and I wanted my hair cut similar to hers. This book looks amazing so it's a must!

2. 1001 Things every teen should know before they leave home- This again is a book and just in case you think I'm leaving home any time soon, i'm most certainly not! I just thought it would be cool to 'educate' myself prior leaving home in the future!

3. Wreck this journal- I'm probably one of the few teens not to have this book! I've wanted it for a while now but its been on my Amazon wish list and I don't want to buy it just in case I get it for Christmas, I want it now though!

4. Make up brushes- Ok aren't these the cutest brushes ever? Come on they're pink! I was never really one for pink, but recently I'm so obsessed with anything pink! I'm not so concerned about my brushes being pink, but I do want good quality ones. Pink brushes would just be a bonus!

5. Lush Products- I don't want any lush products in particular but I would like the 'Cosmetic Warrior' treatment! My skin is terrible at the moment and so oily which leads to spots, so i'd love to try this to get rid of my blemishes! So I don't want any other lush products in particular but the 'Space Girl' bath bomb looks so majestic(Haha did I just say that?!)

6. Jeans- Ok so I am completely in love with Topshop 'Mom' jeans, they are such a cool alternative to the obvious skinny jean! If not i'd also love a pair of 'Joni' jeans because I've always loved high waisted bottoms!

7. Big black bag- I'm in desperate need of a new bag because my newest bag has just broke, not completely but the padlock(it was just for detail) fell off and it's lost! I need a black one because black goes with almost everything, right!? And it needs to be big to carry my files to and from college. I just love this one from Zara and it's only £29.99!

8. Viscose Letter Blouse- I've saw this blouse on a few people and loved it! I pretty much love any shirt and this will be so easy to wear because its monochrome, the letters all over look so cool! I'll probably be snapping one of these up from H&M for just £12.99!

9. Perfume- I'm not particularly asking for Marc Jacobs Daisy but I do really like the smell of it! I was wondering whether you guys could suggest any nice perfumes so I can go and give them a whiff to see if there's any I love! Please comment bellow, I need help!

10. Victoria Pendleton 'Ashwell' bike- This is not actually on my Christmas list as I have already been spoilt this year by having my whole room decorated but I would still love this to go back and for college on, it would make life so much easier, I chose the black bike again because it goes with everything! I adore cruiser bikes they are just so cute, i'd have to get the basket for the front too to chuck my bag in! (I definitely wont get this because i'm hoping to have driving lessons for my 17th and only included this because it had to be an even number of items, probably because I've got OCD or something)

Just to clarify, in no way will I be getting all this and I'm not saying you should ask for all of this because hey times are a little bit tougher, this was just an idea for you guys if you were stuck on what to ask for!

I'm not sure when my next post will be, so until next time!

Thank you for reading! X
