My Most Worn Jewellery | Pandora, Swarovski and More!

I love wearing jewellery! I'm sure like many other girls do too. I own quite a lot of costume jewellery and a few more expensive pieces and I've found there have been around 5 or 6 pieces that I've been going back to on an everyday basis. I love looking at jewellery so I thought you also may like it if I shared with you a few of my favourite pieces to wear!

LETS IGNORE MY SAUSAGE FINGERS
Here is my first piece of Pandora Jewellery that I ever owned, I believe this piece is quite popular as it is reasonably priced and personal. It's the Pandora Birthstone Ring, I have the Amethyst stone as I was born in February which is a beautiful pale purple stone. This looks really simple and pretty alone but as it's a stacking ring it can be paired or stacked with a few others.

I pair this ring with another popular choice from Pandora which is the Flower Band Ring. I loved this ring when I first saw it and knew it had to be mine, especially when I realised it was only £30- possibly the most affordable Pandora ring. This again is so simple but looks really nice worn everyday to complete a casual outfit.

On to necklaces! I love dainty necklaces for everyday wear, especially this silver wishbone from a seller on Instagram which I can't remember the name of unfortunately. I believe this was only £3 or £4 which is amazing considering the amount of wear I've had out of it. I usually team this with basic t-shirts and jeans to bring the look together.

I think these are called druzy necklaces, correct me if I'm wrong but both have pointed stone pendants. I love these as they can add a little colour to what otherwise would be a monochrome outfit. The clear blue crystal necklace was from another shop on Instagram called @craftedjewels a little while ago but they still sell very similar ones for such affordable prices! The dark green stone necklace was from San Francisco, brought back when my sister went on holiday there, though I'm sure you can find similar ones online or from Crafted Jewels.

And last but certainly not least is this Swarovski Micro Bolt Bracelet in Rose Gold. I used to hate mixed metals but recently I've been quite liking it as I don't want to miss an opportunity to wear this stunning dainty bracelet. I saw quite a few bloggers with this and I knew it would have to be mine one day so my sister kindly bought it for my 18th Birthday! I avoided wearing this while at college as I was in placement for half the week and I didn't want it to get caught on anything and broken, however I got lots of wear out of this during the summer and I'm also going to brave it and wear it to work. Let's hope it gets kept in good nick!

There you have it, a quick run through of my favourite pieces of jewellery. As I said, I love jewellery so I'm hoping in the not to distant future to invest in some more expensive jewellery that I shall hopefully wear and hold for life.

What is your most worn piece of jewellery? Or what is on your list list?

Let me know!

America Haul | Beauty, Fashion and Homeware

I mentioned in my last post that today's blog post would be America and shopping related, did you guess it? Of course i'm doing a mini America haul. Unfortunately, I didn't go to America- my sister did. She asked if there was anything i'd like so of course I wasn't going to pass up on this opportunity to try American drugstore brands! I compiled a list of mainly things I couldn't pick up here in the UK or things I knew where cheaper in the US. Although I didn't get as much as i'd of hoped, as she could only find one thing on my list, she did however surprise me with some other gifts instead which I am so grateful for- thanks sis!

Focus on the swatch, not the rest of my hand pls

Now, I know you can actually get these in the UK but I believe they're a little cheaper in America and i'm all for saving pennies. The Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk has been raved about, however I didn't really feel that I needed a white cream eye shadow so I decided to ask for Yogurt which as you can see is this gorgeous slightly pink toned bronze that will be amazing as a base! I haven't yet tested this but if I do like it, I shall be picking some more up.

Crystal Point Pendant Necklace
This is something I usually wouldn't pick up for myself but I love it! I'm so pleased my sister picked this up for me as the green is gorgeous and will look amazing with simple monochrome outfits. I'm not too sure where my sister bought this but i'm sure if you search crystal point pendant then you'll be able to find similar!

I knew I couldn't get these anywhere in the UK so I asked if she saw a Bath and Body Works store could she pop in and pick up a couple of their mini candles just so I could try them. I didn't request any particular scents as I couldn't smell them so I asked if she could get ones she thought i'd like and she did very well!

Island Tiare Flower- I definitely can't describe scents but I can tell you this smells very similar to the Yankee Candle in Pink Sands which is my favourite!

Coconut Vanilla- Does this really need explaining? I love the scent of coconuts and vanilla so this is perfect!

Pomelo Paradise- Again this one smells similar to Pink Sands by Yankee Candle but is slightly different from the first but I like it so i'm not complaining!

And last but definitely not least,

Las Vegas Mug
I don't think I've yet mentioned where she went but she visited Las Vegas and San Francisco. She knows how much i'd love to go to Las Vegas or pretty much anywhere in America so this was perfect for me as she also knows that I love a cup of tea. This is huge so I only tend to fill it half way but come winter time, I know this will be the perfect cup to warm me up after a long day at work!

I'm so grateful for her searching high and low for the products I ask for, although they were sold out unfortunately. I'm sure there will be another time i'll be able to ask someone to pick them up for me or they'll be more accessible in the UK. And of course i'm ever so thankful of her being so thoughtful and bringing other things back for me.

Have you been to America?
It's definitely near the top of my bucket list to go!

What I Got For My Birthday! | 18th Birthday Haul

I'm 18! It was my birthday near enough two weeks ago but it was only until now that I gathered all my gifts together in order to write a post on my blog as a few of you said you'd like to see a kind of haul post.
To be quite honest I wasn't expecting a lot for my 18th as I simply didn't have a lot of ideas of what i'd like, but once again my family completely surprised and spoilt me with gifts that i'm so thankful for. Now, I won't go into detail of every last item I received and who they're from because I do not want this post to be too much of a ramble, so lets get straight into it..

Lets just ignore how weird my hand looks?...
I'd been lusting over this dainty rose gold bracelet for a while, I certainly didn't expect to receive it but my family must have listened! I'm completely smitten with it and I think it's perfect for day-to-day wear as it's so simple and dainty. The Swarovski Micro Bolt bracelet is available to buy here.

Alcohol, and not too much of it as i'm not a huge drinker! This is the only bottle I kept, simply because I thought the bottle was pretty and some may find it odd but i'll treasure it as a reminder of my 18th birthday.
It was inevitable that I had to receive a swanky new 18 glass to drink alcohol from so I got this absolutely beautiful mirrored pink champagne glass with an 18 printed on it, I will continue to use it even if it's not my 18th birthday!

Tradition 18 Key, check! Pointless but essential to remember your 18th birthday so i'll keep that along with the bottle I mentioned earlier.

Again ignore the fact that a pain decided to leak in my bag and stained the edges of the lid, so sad!
I didn't get presents from my friends individually, instead they decided to put them together in this gorgeous butterfly box which I think is a present in itself, I love it! Another thing i'd been lusting over is the Marc Jacobs perfumes so they took that into account and purchased me the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume in Eau So Fresh. Admittedly I wasn't in love with the scent at first but it's grown on me and I think it'll be perfect for day-to-day wear in the upcoming Spring/Summer.

Along with this I also got a lot of beauty stuff from them and other family members. Here's it all looking pretty in the box!

Clothes. I was a little shocked as my family doesn't really buy each other clothes out of fear they wont like them or they won't fit. I've worn and am really pleased with the bits I received, especially as my brothers put their input into what to get me. They got it so right! (Please note, some website pictures here as I've got nobody to take photos of me, haha!)

HERE and HERE

I'm not sure if this is the exact one, but if not it's very similar- here.
I couldn't find this scarf online @ boohoo.com but here's me looking so moody as I was off to college- ft. floral and lace H&M jumper mentioned earlier.

The majority of my family gave me money for my 18th as it symbolises becoming and adult and being responsible for yourself and your money. I was good and put the majority of the money into my savings account but the rest I kept aside to do a little shopping so I treated myself to the Pandora stacking ring that I've wanted for a while to pair with my Pandora Birthstone ring.

This one is available here but i'd recommend going into the store to try a few sizes on. I really like how pretty this ring looks alone and paired with my other!

And that's what I got for my birthday! I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what you'd like to see next on my blog.

What have you been buying recently?
Let me know!

What I'm Wishing For- My 18th Birthday | Wish List

As my 18th Birthday is just around the corner, I am slightly nervous but so excited, today I thought i'd bring to you my 18th Birthday Wish List. I've been asked a lot by my family and friends recently what I would like and I couldn't think of much apart from the usual 18th gifts and things that aren't physical gifts, after a long while of thinking I've put together a list to share with you guys today.

Now you can't have it all but you can wish for it right?

1. To spend time with family and friends, with an emphasis on family.

My families relationship isn't the greatest, I must admit. So this year i'd like them and myself to make the effort to spend time with my immediate family AND the extended family that I don't see on a regular basis, whether this be going out for food or at a last minute family gathering.
Due to leaving school a couple of years ago(I know I can't believe it myself either), I rarely see my friends but we've made sure that we'll spend each others 18th Birthdays together. For mine we're going to be staying over night in London which calls for sight seeing(though we've seen it before), shopping, eating and laughs. I cannot wait!

2. Something sentimental, although not too obviously 'I'm 18'
By this I mean i'd like a piece of jewellery to keep that doesn't feature the typical 18 charm. After lots of browsing I came up with to beautiful items that i'd love! I'm not expecting either of these though I have hinted. First is the gorgeous dainty necklace which features disks that you can choose any letters or symbols of your choice to go on there. I'd love my initials as I've never had a piece of jewellery with my name on and it comes in silver, gold and rose gold, i'm edging more towards rose gold though.
The second piece is slightly pricey as my family don't tend to do birthdays big but I can dream right!? How gorgeous is this dainty rose gold Swarovski bracelet? Perfect for everyday where and has a hint of sparkle which I love.

3. Although I would also like something typically '18th Birthday'.
I'm pretty sure its necessary for everyone who hits the 18th milestone to receive the typical key to the door, Me to You teddy or the champers glass featuring a glittery 18.

4. Beauty Books.
There's a good few beauty books i'd like after reading Lauren Conrad Beauty(review: here) but they're something I don't want to buy for myself, I'm not sure why. I've heard lots about the Sali Hughes Pretty Honest book and it sounds right up my street, I'd also love the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual.

5. Perfume, I'm all for it.
Perfume is not something I've really dabbled with but after discovering what I think is the most beautiful scent, Giorgio Armani Si and running very low on it, I'd love another. There's also a few others I'd like to try including the Molecule 01 perfume by  Escentric Molecules and a more affordable option that I love from The Body Shop- Madagascan Vanilla Flower Eau De Toilette.

6. Flowers.
Only once I've been bought flowers by my sister to say Thank You and I find that pretty sad as I love flowers haha! I'd be happy with any bunch but I love yellow Roses and pink Peonies.

And that's it for my 18th Birthday Wishlist, like I said you can't have everything so just a couple of these things mentioned and i'd be over the moon! I'm planning on doing a 'What I got for my Birthday' post so subscribe via bloglovin' using the button on the right hand side of this post if you'd like to keep updated.
