What I Got For Christmas | Christmas 2014

Hello!
It's currently Christmas night, I'm currently reminiscing the day while in bed thinking of how thankful and fortunate I am. I must admit I was not expecting to do this post as I simply thought my mum was just giving money like we agreed, once again my family outdone themselves as they do every year. As I explained I am so grateful for everything and I thought I'd show what I received deemed as this is popular in the blogger world.
I'll split this into 3 categories, home ware, fashion/beauty and stocking fillers. If and when I purchase anything worth showing in the sales there will be a post up shortly after this but lets get started.

The first present I opened was the largest, I mostly always go for the biggest as i'm so intrigued what could be in a big box. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this beautiful bird cage as i've been looking for one for a while but I simply didn't want to purchase one myself so it made the perfect gift. Inside holds four slots to burn tea lights, it looks so pretty and makes beautiful patterns on my walls.

Next up is the gift I received last when I thought I had finished unwrapping, I was again surprised with this- an Olly Murs photo frame wall clock. If you don't already know I am a tad in love with Olly Murs so this was great and I also received tickets to see him on his 2015 tour(tries to breathe)!

I also received some more sentimental gifts that can be put around my room, to the left is a photo cube from my sister(not yet with my own photos I must add), so i'll have to trawl through the albums to find photos that I truly love to display in here. To the right may be my favourite gift, small but so thoughtful! A little keep-sake with a photo of my grandparents on which reads 'To our Grandaughter Amy, Lots of Love Nan and Grampy xx' I welled up a little with how cute this is, I love it!

Next up is a load of candles, I love candles so I could't be happier- a mix of Yankee Candle, Votives, Wax Melts and the cutest tiny jar! Some may find this odd, but I also received a tiny frying pan as i've been loving egg muffins recently, how perfect haha!

Now i'll move onto the fashion, accessories and beauty bits I received. Firstly are these gorgeous black heeled boots from hiddenfashion.com, I picked these out myself and they're super comfortable as they're fur lined!

I didn't receive any clothes this year but I did have this dream. A fluffy Bambi pyjama set! I never want to take these off, they're the most comfortable piece of clothing ever and the look super cute. Thank you sister!

I've wanted something from Pandora for the longest time now and my sister said she'd get me something. I wouldn't really wear a bracelet so I opted for a Birthstone Ring. I am so content with how beautiful it looks and fits, i'm also wanting another dainty ring so I think that's what I'll spend some of my Christmas money on!

Speaking of rings, this was actually a stocking filler but I also go this lovely silver diamante key ring as I was complaining that the ones I currently have kept braking and although cute where also impractical so this will do the job!

In terms of beauty beneath the piles of wrapping paper held two Soap and Glory sets, one from my parents and the other from my sisters boyfriend- so kind! I love Soap and Glory so it wouldn't be Christmas without it, here I got The Soapremes and Soap for the Best. The Soapremes contain a range of full-sizes and minis where as the Soap for the Best contains all minis, perfect if you travel!

I also had a lot of beauty essentials in my stocking which is always useful, such as shampoo, smellies, cotton pads, makeup remover and lip balms etc. Stockings are my favourite types of gifts!

I had A LOT of chocolate and sweets this year(some of which I've already eaten), enough to last me a long while so i'm not complaining! When else can you acceptably receive ridiculous amounts of these sweet treats though?!

As I've said at the start of this post I am forever grateful for everything I received and didn't expect any of this as my mother said she'd give me money to spend in the sales, so I am over the moon with how generous my family were this year. I'm going to be doing a spot of shopping with my Christmas money so i'm sure a haul will be up shortly!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas spending time with your loved ones and as we're near i'd like to wish you a very Happy New Year, let's hope 2015 is the best yet!

'20 Questions About Me' tag.

Hello!
So I thought I'd break this up a little and give you a tag. This is the(I forgot to note down the name of the tag) 20 Questions About Me tag.

Favorite colour: I really do love pastel colours, but that would be to obvious of me to say. So mint green, I've loved green for ages and  I've  finally put my finger on why, mint green- that's why!
Favorite number: 6. I'm really unsure why, I think it had something to do with one of the 'Bratz' saying it was their lucky number but now it's stuck. 6 is definitely my lucky number!
Dream career: This is really hard for me as my 'dream career' is something that is hopefully reachable. I'd definitely like to work with children in some way, there is a list of things i'd like to do but i'm so undecided. They are- Midwifery, Specialising in children's behaviour, Teaching Assistant or finally the one i'm edging more towards having my own company organising children's parties, although i'd like to be the entertainer once in a while!
Where do you see yourself living when you’re on your own? I'd love to live on my own for a short period of time but nothing too long, I get lonely way to quickly! I'd love to say i'd like to go to Uni but i'm unsure at the moment, but if I do I want to go to England, hopefully somewhere near the seaside but with a decent town centre near by(preferably Plymouth)!
Plymouth Hoe- This just appeals to me greatly.
Favorite way to travel: Of course by plane as that usually means there's a pretty good destination! Although I've not been on a plane for about 9 or 10 years now, sad right? I need to get abroad! But I can tell when I finally learn I will love driving, especially in the summer!
What do you do in your free time? I don't see my friends that regularly now I've left school but I do enjoying catching up with school friends. I also like to instagram, catch up on my favourite TV programmes, bake and blog!
Favorite clothing stores: I really like New Look at the moment as it's got really lovely clothes that I wouldn't expect to find in there for such a reasonable price! I do also like Primark(obviously), H&M and Topshop when I can part with my money!
Who would you like to see in concert? This is pretty hard as I'm so stubborn when it comes to 'really liking' a particular band or artist as in i'm stubborn to add another artist or band to my list that I love. Silly right? I've saw Olly Murs many times and I would definitely like to see him again, I've also seen McFly/McBusted a few times too. But for who I would like to see and who I haven't seen, it'd probably have to be the 1975 or Twin Atlantic!
When I went to see Mcfly in Cardiff- 10/05/14
Favorite tea blend? I don't enjoy herbal or fruit teas at all, so definitely English breakfast tea. That counts, doesn't it?
Do you collect anyting? Not that I can think of off the top of my head. I'd probably say makeup, if anything. I used to collect bottle corks. I know i'm embarrassed, I don't even know why.
I can’t sleep without: I'm one who needs a blanket, I just feel so uncomfortable without one. Even in the hotter months I still need some sort of blanket otherwise I just won't sleep.
If you were given 1 million dollars all for yourself what would you do with it? I'd definitely travel, it's something I've always wanted to do due to lack of holidays abroad. There's a few places i'd like to visit to date these being- Disney World- Florida, Mykonos- Greece, Kefalonia, Lapland for Christmas and to see the Northern Lights, Tenerife and finally Morocco.
Kefalonia- Ionian Island
Favorite make-up brand? I haven't really tried many high end brands apart from samples and Benefit. But in the drugstore I really like Rimmel and L'Oreal.
Favorite treat to eat? Carbs and I hate that about myself, I love bread, pasta and potatoes. Not good for me all the time, but I do also love sugared ring donuts, that's more of a treat.
What is your favorite season? My favourite would probably have to be Autumn, I love Autumnal colours and layering, feels so cosy and reminds me that Christmas is on it's way!
Do you sleep with your doors open or closed? Closed, I hate the light coming in from anywhere else in the house!
Why did you start blogging? The blogging community seemed really lovely, and that's what drew me in. I think I started my blog last October, since then I haven't been keeping on top of it due to work load. Since i'm finished for a long summer and have more time and ideas, i'm hoping to be blogging more frequently, at least once a week! I also like the idea of helping others, as I've learnt a lot from other blogs reading recommendations and products to avoid.
Do you have any magazine subscriptions? I used to be subscribed to Bliss, haha! It was such a waste of money as after about 3 months, I just wasn't reading it. Also just for your info the subscription started when I was about 11/12 and I didn't even cancel it until about a year and a half ago, such a waste. I don't have any at the moment as I tend to read what I catches my eye at the time in shops and I couldn't subscribed to all them.
What were you doing at 12AM last night? I was probably asleep after such a tiring school trip with more than 50- 6 year olds at a big aquarium. I am partly qualified now so I helped out at the school my sister teaches in, I had my own group of 5 and I was not prepared for it! I was exhausted afterwards!
Favorite perfume? Would definitely have to be Giorgio Armani Si! The only downside is it's quite expensive for a small bottle but it smells absolutely amazing! Probably perfect for younger and older, it's quite sophisticated but honestly smells so lovely! If you haven't smelt it then definitely give it a spray in Boots before buying!

I did not make up this tag although I may of slightly winged it on the name because I forgot the exact name, whoops. If you'd like to do this yourself, please feel free as I tag everyone!

Comment below if you've done this and i'll be sure to check it out!

Thank you for making it this far into this post, see you next time!
